Gastroenterology is the study and treatment of disease of the stomach, liver, biliary tract, pancreas & intestines. Gastroenterologists provide a full range of consultative services for the evaluation of diseases of these organs. In addition, they provide a full range of endoscopic services for the evaluation of, and early diagnosis and treatment of, diseases of the colon, stomach, and pancreatic and biliary systems. These procedures include colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography). These procedures are performed in state of the art endoscopy suites, using the latest equipment.
