Bio
After spending years in coastal cities, Dr. Young fell in love with Montana when she moved from Seattle in 2010. Like many Missoulians she enjoys trail-running, mountain biking, skiing and being on the river in the summer. She also loves cooking, eating, writing and dancing (mostly in the kitchen) and spending time with her husband, daughter and energetic pup. Little known fact: there is a Biscuits and Gravy dish at a Seattle restaurant named for her - "the Big Al." She is passionate about healthy equity and partnering with families to help kids achieve the standards of health they need to succeed. She serves on the Healthy Mental Development Committee for the Montana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Board Member for Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate.
