Dr. Gottman has been at Western Montana Clinic since 2000, proudly raising his 4 boys in Missoula. His wife hails from western Montana and is always trying to educate a suburban city raised physician about livestock and ranching. A true pediatrician, he welcomes new babies, children and adolescents into his practice, and is now at the stage of practice and life that those new patients are often children of those for whom he cared when they were younger. Being a Pediatrician is only part of his professional life, as he is also President of Western Montana Clinic, a job that he likens to herding cats through a heavy rainstorm. He begrudgingly exercises daily, is still trying to waterski a perfect slalom run, works on projects at home (electrical work is fun, plumbing is awful), chases his large petulant dog around the yard, cares for chickens that he has disinherited, fishes with his fil, and generally enjoys just relaxing with his wife.
